RN by day, Cake baker by night!!!

So I promised to fill you in with each new cake I agreed to bake.... It just so happened I received a text at work today asking if I could do a birthday cake for THIS WEEKEND!!! I work from today through Monday of next week from 6am-6pm! Excitement was the first emotion to rush through my veins as I read the message! Next was oh shit damn "explicit" I work emotions of grief flooded me next!! Thankfully I am a glass half full kind of gal and went with the gut feeling that I could pull this off and said, "what size, theme, flavor and shape"!!!! So here I am the smell of yellow cake fills the air, along with the cries of a tired toddler!!!

This cake is for a special little three year old who loves frozen!! She wants a Elsa/Anna cake and the reason for a short notice was due to a certain grocery store refusing to let mom put a order in on a Thursday for Sunday because they were "booked"!!! What she don't know yet is it was her luck because I am 100% sure my cake will taste and look better than the sheet cake walmart would have provided.

I sent the kids on a scavenger hunt tonight to find my frozen figurines from my last frozen cake, I offered up 1$ for the kid who found the most, the kids didn't even bat an eye at that!! 1$ are you kidding me?? These kids are 5 and 7 years of age!! Geeeeze!! But Cody decided to offer up $3 big old smackeroos and they both flooded the toy room search and arguing over who found what!! Well we found all our figurines within minutes but we have a naked Elsa!!! Dress is MIA!! Crisis # 1 underway but backup plan is a icing dress!!!! lol!!

Ps: I also secured a cake for April 11th for Ann's daughters, she is doing a double party with double cakes and I already planned to be off that weekend because its Codys Birthday!! He wasn't too mad at the idea of baking the night before his birthday!!!! I love you Cody! thanks for all your help!!
